CAREERS
is a one-week summer enrichment program for students of Perry
County. Students participate in workshops with Perry Human Services
staff where they learn about topics such as preparing for job
interviews, improving communication skills, and finding which
careers may best suit them. There are field trips to various businesses
to learn about different types of careers and find out what employers
expect from employees.
Who is eligible for CAREERS?
To
be a part of the CAREERS Program, students must:
Live in Perry County
Be at least
14 years-old by June 1, 2008
Have reliable transportation to and from New Bloomfield each day
Want to have fun learning about different careers and jobs skills
