Materials
We
provide a variety of resources to schools, agencies, community organizations,
parents, or any requesting individual.
Student
Assistance Program (SAP)
All
middle and high schools in Pennsylvania have a Student Assistance
Program (SAP). These teams function to identify and refer students
who may be using substances or dealing with mental health concerns.
PHS prevention staff serve on teams in all Perry County school districts.
PHS publishes a newsletter
highlighting various topics which is distributed to individuals,
schools and businesses in Perry County. Let us know if you'd like
to be added to the mailing list.
CAREERS
is a one-week long summer enrichment program for students who are
at least 14 years-old. Students participate in workshops and visit
area businesses to learn more about various types of jobs, and also
to learn what employers expect from employees.

Prison
Education/Intervention

programs and intervention services are available to inmates at the
Perry County Prison.
We
offer help for parents/families struggling with a family member's
stustance abuse. Meets every 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
