provide a variety of resources to schools, agencies, community organizations,
parents, or any requesting individual. |

All
middle and high schools in Pennsylvania have a Student Assistance
Program (SAP). These teams function to identify and refer students
who may be using substances or dealing with mental health concerns.
PHS prevention staff serve on SAP teams in all four school districts
in the county.

Ounce of Prevention |
PHS publishes a newsletter
highlighting various topics which is distributed to individuals,
schools and businesses in Perry County. Let us know if you'd like
to be added to the mailing list.

| CAREERS
Program |
| CAREERS
(formerly the S.I.D.E. Program) is a summer enrichment program for
students who are at least 14 years-old. There are two one-week programs
from which to choose. Students participate in workshops and visit
area businesses to learn more about various types of jobs. |

offer help for parents/families struggling with a family member's
stustance abuse. Meets every 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

abuse, but have a desire to be drug-free. |
