Tobacco Prevention

The Tobacco Prevention Specialist position is funded by Pennsylvania’s tobacco settlement. Each county in the state is responsible for meeting state-mandated goals.

Family Health Council of Central PA has received these funds for Cumberland and Perry Counties. They have contracted with Perry Human Services to meet these goals for Perry County.

Perry County goals include working with all groups, including doctors, dentists, schools, businesses, law enforcement, agencies, and special populations such as pregnant women, the underprivileged, youth, and the elderly.
