Perry County Youth Advisory Board (YAB)

What is it?
The board is part of a program called BUSTED! It is a teen (ages 14-17) driven anti-alcohol, tobacco and other drugs (ATODs) advocacy group which speaks out against the tobacco companies and their targeting of youth in advertising, as well as other ATOD issues. The meetings consist of education/discussions of tobacco, alcohol, and other drug issues, project planning, speakers, etc.

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month freom 6-8 p.m. at the Perry Human Services office in New Bloomfield. We also have quarterly meetings with the Cumberland County YAB.

Why be a member of the board?
